1910s Dress

1910s Dress

Gorgeous Edwardian era dress! Would be a wonderful wedding dress! Absolutely beautiful antiqued tea coloring. Flattering gathering and pleating throughout. Gathered bodice, fitted waist features flattering wide lace trim with scalloping, and blue silk ribbon woven across. Same trim and ribbon at sleeve hems. Short sleeves feature rows of folds and hanging blue silk velvet ribbon, with tiny pink roses attached. Long tunic style peplum with accordion pleating, over longer accordion pleat skirting. Hidden hook and eye closures in back.

Recommended size S or M
Bust: 34" - 40" (lots of gathers/pleating)
Waist: 27"
Hip: open to about 46"
Length: 52"

Condition: Excellent. So wearable and strong for its age! Overall aged tea color, with some minor darkening towards neckline. Would whiten with a good soak/cleaning but I love the color so will leave decision up to buyer. Pleating could use a re-pressing. Some very minor underarm discoloration. A few very faint marks hidden in skirt folds. Blue ribbon at waist looks like it may be missing a bow on one side.
